you will find thru your life that man are dirty, lustful slugs regardless of age and amount of sex they had last night. I suggest you deal with it or lock yourself behind monastery walls.

Not all men are like that, however. But, you are correct.

This is not a pointless debate. This thread is about satisfying the community on inconsistencies of Anet's designs.
They show you something on the trailer. Then you play something completely different.
Being pissed about it is not being immature, its justified.
I am defending this thread, even though i LOVE how the Sins look in game, because the gaming community as a whole is NOT happy with this character deception.

I agree. But people had to turn it into a perverted debate.
But yes, many things are like that; you see something but when you get it, its nothing like what you saw. So, you get disappointed. Just like when you were a child and you would see a toy on TV that you just had to have because it was big and looked really fun. But when you got it, it sucked.

Perhaps "perverted" wasn't the correct word. Ah well.

I just about fell out of my chair laghing at the thought of you not playing a certain class because of its LOOKS.
I dont choose a class on looks, THEN purpose, but then again - tons of guys play as chicks.

I heard that some people don't want to be the male assassins because they look "gay". XD Perhaps its the mid-drift shirts. :P

I dont want to play male ele, mesmer and ritualist for the same reason. Even male necro is rather gothic on the edge of gay.

Indeed. However, I can't play as a male anyway. I feel weird. I end up deleting him and making him a female. :P

The only thing I find funny about the assassin (male one at least) is that when he runs, he reminds me of Commander Riker with that one shoulder higher up than the other. I chuckle every time.
Personally, i dont play as a transgender. Its not that I dont like looking at the female gender, I just tend to play what gender I am in RL. There are plenty of other female (characters) to gaze upon, but you will never catch me receiving a lapdance from one, you never know who's really giving it to ya!, lol
at any rate, as far as game characters go, transfering concept art to pixels is far from perfect, and example is HERE this is an image of me after slight photoshop work (ears and nails , etc) for Bloodlines, and let me tell you, the translation to the Game looks NOTHING at all like that.
Maybe with different armor, "she" may fill in a bit.

I was originally inclined to apologize; my original response was knee-jerk and I probably should have read back a ways to establish some context. Reading through, though, it became clear that you were every bit in the same mindset as myself. It is fairly obvious now that you don't fit my stereotype for most of the types of folks who argue this kind of issue. But then, we must take into account that magical thing, the internet. Revolutionary communications tool? Breakthrough entertainment medium? Yeah, sure, but it's also a somewhat tenuous means of discourse, as any personal claims by either party must be taken on faith that they actually represent or even resemble the truth.
As for personal insult... If you can decry mine (which I have already said I somewhat regretted) whilst throwing out your own, you really are not in the right to speak of it.
Perhaps someone of a far more higher intelligence level could indeed have an intelligent debate. But as a rule (thoughy by no means without exception) those who say things like "far more higher level" are not of the most intelligent percentile. You see? Insinuations and slander are easy and fun .

The gender I play depends on the "prettiness" of the class armor.
Example, I think Female monk armors are ugly, so I have a male monk. Yet, I think female ranger and assassin armors in Factions are just stunning, so I will have a female ranger and a female assassin when it comes out.

Ah. Indeed. And I came on a bit too strong. Then again, I had just woken up and had a bad headache. That can really get me to be unlike myself. I apologize.
And what about "far more higher level"? XD I've heard intelligent people use that saying before. :P
Insinuations and slander are much easier to do online. I bet half the people who do it would be too scared to do it in person. XP

I am the same way. I like my character to be of my real life gender.
And, as far as that picture goes, that is really awesome. I love how it looks animated and such. Very nice Photoshop work.

Personally when i saw the Female assassins in FPE i cheered! the assassins looked like assassins, not eles playing dressup. and when i saw the running style i nearly wet myself, maybe its just cause im a big Ninja fanatic but it is just so cool the way they move, all creepy like, with the daggers.
I really dont undertand people saying " im worried about her health" Shes not real! and she looks fitter than most girls i know! come on people get it together.

Let's just agree to disagree. For that matter, do we even disagree? And about what? Time was, this thread was about 'sin styles. Me, I'm fine with 'em. But some people... sheesh.
EDIT: Not that I don't love a good argument...

Exactly! Haha. Let's just agree. On what exactly? We do not know. And I like assassins. Mine is going to be a very short albino looking chick. XD

You can thank Tim Bradstreet Himself. He was the one that did the artwork for the promo of the game, too bad Troika went under right after release. Was a fun gig nonetheless
